WILLIAM VOVERS

William Vovers is an Australian-Indonesian songwriter and multi-instrumentalist whose music blends expressive instrumentals with influences from the traditional music of Kalimantan, Indonesia. After studying Dayak instruments under contemporary Dayak musicians, he developed a sound shaped by cultural heritage, atmosphere, and honest songwriting. Alongside his solo work, William collaborates on Miras, a project combining Central and Southeast Asian instrumentation with modern doom metal soundscapes.
